Has anyone used Life4K9 dog food? I emailed many questions to them and got prompt answers each time. Smiley  It seems like an excellent kibble so I ordered the adult dog lamb kibble. It came today and the dogs seemed to like it mixed with their Kumpi. I am hoping it will make a good alternate as I like to alternate between two kibbles. Their canned is by Evangers for those who use it. I no longer use any canned. No cat food with this company. Would love to hear from anyone who uses the kibble. Will let you know in a few weeks how it works out here.

ps Never did hear back from By Nature.

Product has changed.  First the company said this batch was over baked, then said the co packer changed the food, the just let the product sell hoping the consumer did not feed the orginal product.  No new food on the market.  Best use by date is almost expired.  Company will not address the problems.

oneviperone, Do you mean that the ingredients have recently changed? I would be curious to know who manufactures this food as it is rather unusual for a company to say that the "co packer changed the food", but nothing suprises me anymore. Also keep in mind that when calling or emailing customer service, one does not always get to speak with a properly informed person.  Shocked  I would suggest making further inquiries and ask to speak to someone in charge or a manager. Let us know if you find out anything more.

oneviperone, are you experiencing problems from this food?  If so, what are the symptoms?  It would be good to post here in case others are using this food.

Info taken from The Pet Food List site.............

Life4K9 (information provided by company CEO 4/09/07)

Have never used Menu Foods to manufacture their products.
We do not manufacture out of the US nor does LIFE4K9 purchase any foreign ingredients.
We do not add wheat gluten.
Oven baked using human grade ingredients.
The canned line is made by Evangers and we offer Lamb and a Chicken formula.
Independently owned company (no parent company).

If the company is independently owned and there is no parent company....why would a co-packer change the food?    Angry
