Thanks! It's good to hear you had such a good conversation with one of the Wellness follks. They seem to be a bit more on the ball than some of the other companies, so hopefully you got the straight story.

The grainless food is what Tequila eats, too. Like you, I definitely keep a close eye on the food and if I ever see anything that doesn't look right there's no way I'll give it to her.

Thanks Smiley Tequila's going to be 11 in February. She's been with me since she was about 6 months old. I went to visit a friend who plunked her in my arms and said, "hold this a minute." Obviously I can't tell time very well Wink

Right now Tequila is eating Wellness, although I'd much rather have her on a home cooked diet. That's what she ate for over a year and then all of a sudden decided it wasn't good enough for her, and stopped - and I do mean stopped - eating. She wouldn't eat anything I tried so I got her some canned and dry Wellness. I would have worked harder at getting her back onto something she would eat but this happened right after Lydia's surgery & diagnosis. Things were so tough with Lydia for that first month or so that I decided to stick with the Wellness for a while. So far, she's doing ok on it. She seems to feel good, she loves the food, and her coat is very soft & shiny. The bad thing is though, that she's gained weight since going off the home cooked. We're working on that though.
What a cute story! My first encounter with my first cat Tinker is kind of similar. I was sitting on my back porch one Spring 13 years ago when she appeared and plopped herself on my lap. My DH came home and said "do not let that cat into the house". Obviously I don't listen to my husband very well.......... Cheesy
