USDA Announces Melamine Testing of Retail Meat and Poulty Products

This is the first voluntary testing for melamine of any governmental entity.  The USDA will be testing products directly from retail shelves including baby food.  If any positive results are found by the laboratory, the Emergency Management Committee will be convened.  Something tells me this was prompted somehow that isn't fully disclosed.....

I'm almost hoping that melamine is found in some of the foods to be tested, just so once and for all the government can put out the warnings they should have a long time ago, to prevent people from purchasing any human or pet foods from China.

   Yup, something definitely prompted this. It will be interesting to see how many products have been tainted...........
