FDA Issues Preliminary Animal Health Notification

This also pertains to the contaminated dog treats in Australia, but is an alert for US consumers so I thought I'd better get it into it's own topic:

"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) continues to caution consumers of a potential association between the development of illness in dogs and the consumption of chicken jerky products also described as chicken tenders, strips or treats.  FDA continues to receive complaints of dogs experiencing illness that their owners or veterinarians associate with consumption of chicken jerky products. The chicken jerky products are imported to the U.S. from China."

   This is very odd. I have never known the FDA to issue a Preliminary warning on anything before. It is about time that someone at least acknowledges that there is a major problem with jerky treats coming from China!

You would think that China would be highly scrutinized and their products tested for everything known to man. With all the poison from there when are people going to wake up and realize it will never stop. Its just the way they are. They have to keep things cheap. Theres only one way to do that.
