Yup, all my kitties go crazy for an occassional nip of the nip.  It really mellows out my yellow kitty who tends to be very nervous and makes him very sleepy. I wonder if it would work for me?  Cheesy Shocked

Wow, sherrylynne, you sure have some beautiful BIG kitties!  I especially like Herne, probably because he looks like my Prometheus and also because he was the last holdout for the canned food!  Ha ha ha, got to hand it to him for having a mind of his own!  Once you get them all on raw you may see a little trimming at the waist line happening.  So don't be alarmed if they lose their tummies being on the better foods.  I had two kibble addicts, Perseus and Persephone, that both lost a lot of weight and trimmed down so nicely after going on the better foods.  Their weight loss was gradual, over a year, but they both became very muscular and very much more active without all their baby fat.

I grow my own catnip and it's easy to do.  It comes back every year as it's self seeding.  Also, it produces beautiful purple flower tops.  The cats like it while it's growing as much as when it's dried out.  I grow it in flower pots now.  I used to just grow it in my yard but after a few years the whole yard was nothing but catnip!
