Cato is gorgeous! I'm so sorry he doesn't have Kaffe anymore.....I send warm strokes across his head to comfort him.

Thank you Robfdavies and bonkers!  I'm sure Cato appreciates it!  e is still watching out the window for Kaffe every night even though I tell him that Kaffe has gone ahead to our forever home in the heavenlies... but I think he watches becuase Kaffe sometimes visits him!

What a big, beautiful, healthy boy Cato is!  His mommy sure does take good care of him!  He's the type of kitty I wish I could just reach out and pet real hard!

Cato's a beauty!!  Both your boys have such unusual markings that make them so intriguing. I'm sure he misses Kaffe so much.  Are you thinking about another kitty at all?  It sure helped me getting the two kittens after my two girls passed away earlier this year.

Sorry this took sooooo long to answer!  I didn't see it!

Cato is doing quite well now after a bout of idiopathic cystitis last December.  I thought he was blocked and you can just imagine my relief when the vet told me "No - he's not blocked; just having some kind of urinary issue."  After a urinalysis, steroid shot, antibiotic shot and fluids, it was determined that he had bladder inflammation of unknown origen (urinalysis showed no bacteria and no crystals)  .... the vet said the inflammation was most likely brought on by stress.  I've instituted a supplement regime for him for one month and he's fine now.  Here he is after seeing the vet last December:
