Well, none of them outright rejected the bits of raw mixed in with the canned! They didn't eat all the pieces, but they've each at least had some. I gave them 1/2 of what they would normally eat at first, hoping they'd take in the raw, and it worked, at least somewhat. I gave them the rest of their canned afterwards.
So far, so good Grin

You go girl!  Every day will bring them closer to that all raw day you've been dreaming of!

The other day I found kitten Athena all bloody and immediately started freaking out.  I couldn't find where she was bleeding from.  Then I realized she had rolled in her raw breakfast....

Well, Watson is doing the best, so far! He's getting about an ounce of raw, and 1/4 small can of canned. Mr. Stubbs isn't too far behind. The other two, well...
I'd swear I have this conversation every meal time with Ligiea:
L: But mummy, there's more than 3 pieces in my food. I don'T liKe thaT.
M: Shut up and eat, cat.
L: But MUMMY, I don'T wanT iT!
M: Shut up and eat, cat.
L: BUT MUMMY!!!
M: EAT!

Ready to kill the hubby tonight Angry! I had to run out to the store quickly, and told him I'd feed the cats when I got back. I'd very deliberately given them a bit less this morning to eat, so they'd be a bit hungrier tonight, because I was upping the raw for three, and trying Watson on straight raw, with just a bit of gravy from the canned. I was gone for 30 minutes. Got home, went up to feed them, only to find their dishes filled with straight canned!!! When I asked him about it, he very nonchalantly says, "Well, they were hungry". Ooooo I'm going to kill him!!! Of course, they wanted nothing to do with the raw after pigging out!

Well, if the truth be told, I had to threaten mine with taking away their credit cards and cell phones to get them to eat raw....

Wow, sherrylynne, I'm ready to kill my husband today, too! He left out a shopping bag with the handles on it, and Athena ended up wearing it around her neck racing her brains out all over the house!  We couldn't catch her at first, and she must have run a mile at full speed around the house before we got her.  She was so freaked out I thought she was going to have a heart attack.  So after she calmed down, we had to tell Daddy he was bad, bad, bad and if it happened again he would be banned, banned, banned from the house.

Ooh, poor kitty! Shame we can't do with the hubbys what I do with the ferrets when they misbehave- time outs in the kennel Grin. I hope Athena has recovered from her trauma!

I actually thought I had a breakthrough this morning with Watson. I gave him straight raw bits this morning, and he started chowing down. Ate about 1/4 of it, then suddenly stopped, put his nose in the air, and kept looking from Herne's dish to his and back. Gave me a "look", then promptly moved Herne out of the way, and tried to eat his! No, I didn't let him, but the brat is now refusing to even try the raw again Roll Eyes! Arrgh!
