A suggestion to you if I may, as I have a male Maine Coon whose bladder was damaged before I got him and he has Interstitial Cystitis. When you have a Urineanalysis done, always check what the pH is. Cats fare the best as per my vet with a pH of 6-6.5. My guy Rufus has a tendency to run up to 7.5-8 and then we know he will have a very irritated bladder making him more prone to potential UTI.
Having taken Rufus completely off dry was a giant step in the right direction. We also use Tinkle Tonic, a homeopathic remedy that helps to reduce the pH of his urine.
