Warning About "Natural" Dried Chicken Strips

You may have seen packages of dried chicken strips sold under various brand names such as Smokehouse, Vitality, etc at various retailers like Petsmart, Costco, Trader Joe's, and even your local independent pet food store. These are all MADE IN CHINA. Do not let all of the buzzwords on the packaging fool you. "Free range", "Natural", "No preservatives", etc don't mean anything if they feed the chickens contaminated feed, and raise them in unsanitary, diseased conditions.

Please check the labels closely. Some are clearly marked MADE IN CHINA. But, some are deceptively packaged with MADE IN CHINA written in tiny little fonts, obviously designed to avoid detection.

The DOGSWELL and CATSWELL Jerky Treats are ALL MADE IN CHINA too!  Don't people know to read the fine print yet?  The place where I shop told me they refuse to sell any Chinese food because DOGSWELL made three dogs in their daycare sick.  It says no added hormones but that doesn't mean there aren't any in there to begin with.  Cage free?  Did you see the picture of those chickens who live in the dark inside.  It's CHINA for heaven's sake!  There is more pesticide use there than practically anywhere.  Wake up pet parents!!!!!!!!

I noticed quite a few of the chicken breast treats are from China. I'll stick with my freeze dried raw food for treats. You just never know these days.
