Hello everyone!

I'm new to these forums...was wondering if any of you feed the Taste Of The Wild grain free kibble.

We recently started feeding it about 3 months ago to our four rotties and they are thriving!  One of our dogs had chronic ear problems that seemed to get better when we fed Natures Variety Prairie kibbles but they cleared up 100% after 4 weeks on the TOTW.

Price point is similar to the NV Prairie - here in CT we pay $45 for a 30 pound bag...versus almost $50 for a 25 pound bag of the NV Instinct.  Feeding four dogs, we go thru a 30 pound bag in about 2 weeks!

The ingredients looked great so I bought the fish based kibble and the dogs loved it. I mixed it  1 part to 3 of Kumpi. HOWEVER,  I later found out it is made by Diamond  Shocked although there is no indication of that anywhere I could find on the bag. Diamond has had several serious problems with some of their kibbles  Cry dating long before the 2007 problems and were also involved with the 2007 recalls. Therefore I will not buy it again. Am back to the very expensive Orijen Six Fish to add to Kumpi.

I tried the TOTW Feline formula when it first came out. My cats were not that enthused about it. I do know of other people whose cats love it and have had no issues to date with this food.

I tried it a long time ago. About a year ago I think. Misty liked it ok but after reading all the labels I realized it had chicken in every formula. Since I want to rotate proteins I stopped using it. We did not have any issues with it while she on it. I know a couple that use it and have not had problems. I was concerned about the diamond thing also.

Just wanted to add that Taste of the Wild has now come out with three different canned formulas for dogs and one canned food for cats.
