This may be way more trouble then it's worth, but...............

after typing "Natura California Natural Chicken & Rice Cat Dry Formula" at least 1,000,000 times in the last month & just now trying to shorten "Royal Canin Sensible Choice Cat Dry Indoor" to something that readers would understand; I'm wondering if a list of standard brand name & flavor abbreviations is in order. Of course the question (Other then would anyone care!) is whether creating the abbreviation list would spend more time then we'd save using it, but it's a thought........

I just now saw this.  I could not agree with you more Geff.  I get really tired of typing those long names too.  I think that often we just come up with our own abbreviations and hope that others can interpret.  For example, "Natura California Natural Chicken & Rice Cat Dry Formula" was at some point called Cal Nat by us on the forum, but then there are times we have to specify "chicken & rice" part, or "dry" and "cat".  I guess we can just make it up when we post, like, CalNat c&r dc.  Or maybe you can start an abbreviation list for us and we can all add to it until it's complete.  But Therese would have to figure out a really good place to locate it on the forum, otherwise no one would see it.

Yes, we are getting so good at our trade, here, that we need our own jargon or trade language, too!
