Does Eagle have their own dry food factory? I did not know that. One thing of note is that Eagle gets their vitamin formula from BASF, and have admitted that it comes from China, but then don't they all?
Chinese BASFI'm really sick of this China thing and if all these companies are going to persist in using products from there (which they are, since they are obviously not including the vitamin formulas when they say they use nothing from China), then they can all stick their food you know where. That said, it looks to me like Eagle's holistic formula is better than Bench & Field's, so if you were going to go in that direction, it might be a better choice. For one thing, I'm not impressed with corn gluten, which is in Bench & Field's formula. It's a cheap by-product of corn manufacturing and not something I want to feed my cat. I don't know Gary, what do you think? Most of these formulas are pretty similar and I'm tired of it. They all seem to use the exact same ingredients. None of them are that different or unique. Chicken, duck, fish, rice, corn, various meals, tomato pomace, apples, potatoes, alfalfa, cranberries, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah...same old, same old. Nothing available that stands out in the crowd.
