My cats are crazy about these. It is just freeze dried meat or fish, nothing else. They love chicken and salmon.

Anybody else knows any good and hopefully safe treats?

Just read on most recent update recall list on here that Halo (Spot's Stew) is in a recall. Just thought I'd let you know since you use these treats. Does not say if the treats are involved in recall.

I'm glad someone had the same reaction as me to the statement that Halo was on the re-called list.  I just fed my cats and dogs this food.  Does anyone else have any info on this claim.  I think the pet food list just updated Halo's info with a disclosure of their manufacturer.  I don't think it's recalled.  Please, if anyone knows anything else on this issue, let me know.

Halo Products have NOT been recalled. What you read was an update to The Pet Food List. The pet food list is primarily a list of pet foods that have NOT been recalled. Those that have been recalled are highlighted in yellow.

We just added more info about Halo, Purely for Pets, and again, they have NOT had any recalls.

My cats love these treats too. Especially the freeze dried lamb. Its 50% fat though. Is that safe to give to cats everyday? Anyone know?

My cats love the Halo treats (especially the chicken and salmon)!  They are just dried meat and have no additives.  I also feed the Spot's stew with no worries as I know it is safe (and the ingredients are simple and the food looks like actual food, not ground up junk).  Good stuff.  Another good treat (which is similar to Halo's) is Grandma Lucy's (my cats love the dried whitefish).
