Sharron,
I share your concerns.

Thank you guys for posting, I am glad to read that I am not the only one out there thinking about the same thing.  The poster on Itchmo didn't test for acetaminophen .  I also called Natura on early this week, I spoke to a representative that has also answered some of my emails.  She said that the FDA gave a statement that acetaminophen was not found in any foods and is not in pet food.  She said they will not test for it because of that statement.  I don't think that there is anything wrong with Natua food, its just that I want to trust a food company 100% that they are doing everything they can to keep their foods safe...  I don't know if there ever will be a food we can trust 100% anymore... sad but true.  I thought they were "on the ball" with testing when everything was going on and I bet it is the reason a lot of people switched to Natura foods... I just wish they would go the extra mile for their customers...

I asked Evy about that and she does test them all and her webmaster is going to post them soon. I for one am glad she is being open and honest about the testing - so many other companies are not. And to date, her food has never been recalled, so there isn't much worry to begin with  Smiley

The FDA tested 3 cat food and 2 dog food samples and found no acetaminophen.  The FDA released to a reporter an agency position that after testing 5 random samples they felt there was no acetaminophen in any pet food.  The FDA released this information prior to communicating with Expertox, the lab that found acetaminophen in pet food samples.

MidWest Labs does not test for acetaminophen.  They stated they would have to outsouce to another lab to test for acetaminophen.  They did not believe there could be any acetaminophen in pet foods.
