One of my dogs threw up thier dinner tonight.  I stepped outside to water my plants and when I came back there it was in the hallway.  I fed them some cooked stew beef with their kibble (Innova) It did go through my mind about the livestock feed I must admit...  I am sure the reason one of them threw up was just because I caught them eating grass earlier and there was  a few grass blades in the you-know-what.   If it was my young dog, she always throws up when she eats grass, if it was my older one, he hardley ever throws up.  So, I am a bit nervous if it was the older one.  I can't help but wonder if something is wrong now when this happens you know...  before all of the recall stuff, I would worry a little bit, but knew that it is common for dogs to throw up especially after eating grass.  Now I wonder if they may be poisoned!

Don't worry as dogs do throw up from time to time and you will never know why. Eating grass may help them to do it. It is a dog thing. One of mine did the same thing the other night. No reason I could see but I did not give her any food till morning and she is fine. However, if it happens several times or it happens often then I would see a vet. There are a few health problems other than food or grass that can cause nausea. Just feed light for a couple of days.

I've recently lost my dog "Maybelline" (Italian Cane Corso) of 2 yrs of AKF/CKF due to Nutro Natural Choice on March 10, 2007.

Her mother "Lucia" (Italian Cane Corso) of 5 yrs was and still is eating Innova Evo with no problems. THANK GOD.

Only if "Maybelline" liked that brand she still would be alive today........

Our dog is OK after a month on dry EVO since May 7.

When she eats too much grass/weed, she will throw up.

Caution: People often use weed killers and we only let her eat
grass in parks. If we see any out of season dead or browning
weeds, we know that the park department has come through
spraying weed killer.
