Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has had this experience...  I started feeding my dogs Innova Adult Dry dog food about 2 weeks ago.  Previously I had been feeding home-cooked meals..  With 4 large dogs it gets to be quite a lot of work (and a very messy kitchen), so I decided to incorporate a dog food to include with home-cooking.  Anyway I chose Innova because of the fact that Natua claims their food to be 100% safe.  Also, because they seem to have been a bit more proactive with testing and such...  Anyway, since I started them on the dog food, almost immediatly, I noticed my dogs were 'pooping' a lot more...  All of them have more frequent and larger stools...
Anyone else out there have this happen to them...?

Absolutely. Shortly before the recalls I decided to try a different kibble and got INNOVA Evo w/no grain. Within a week one dog had diahrea. A couple of days later the next one had it and then the next. At that point I figured it was the food and went back to Wysong on a temporary basis. It stopped. I have since switched over to Kumpi supplemented with The  Honest Kitchen with no problems at all. I changed over gradually each time so know the problem was the Evo but don't know why. Before the recall I did use their canned with no problem. No longer use any canned. I do not believe the Evo was tainted in any way just not a good formula for my dogs.

Just wanted to report I've had no problems with Innova dry (adult - green bag).

I switched to Innova Dry a month or so ago for my 2 young dogs (1.5 yrs old & 11 mos. old) I was using Nutro's dry but became convinced there's something wrong with after some vomiting and thirst issues (see Nutro's thread if interested).

They do poop a lot, but less than with the Nutro's. They were a bit gassy the first week, but not now. I'm not sure if they poop too much or if it's just because they eat a little more than average (because of their high activity levels) and because they're still young dogs. Otherwise no problems to report.

I've been thinking about switching them, or supplementing with a real/whole/raw type food... I would bet their stools would be different than now (less quantity and firmer) and probably an adjustment period. I don't know if either is better or worse, maybe just different.
