We're quick to point out when someone's done something we think is wrong, but many times the folks who do the right thing get passed by. Right now there are companies, and individuals, working hard to help keep pets safe. Let's use this forum to express our gratitude. They need to hear it!

I'd like to just thank pretty much everyone! I guarantee you that without all the articles and testimonials I would not be as aware as I am now of what the Pet Industry (or most of it!) actually puts in our pet's food! I guess I have become quite cynical of the industry (and all their side-kicks that back them up).....but I certainly trust the words of pet owners.......so once again..thank you all!

This is location specific to Western Washington State in the USA, but I've received a ton of assistance & support way above & beyond the call of duty from the Tacoma store of the Mud Bay Grainary chain & also had a really wonderful experience today at an independent store called Green Cottage Pets in Fircrest.

On the other hand, I've had owners & clerks treat me like i was crazy at 1 store, accuse me of just wanting free food at a second & making me go through hoops to return an unopened bag of Royal Canin at a store I'd shopped at exclusively for 6 years!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU 100 times over for being the only forum that I have found listing foods NOT on the recall.  For those of us with pets (family members) not affected by this recall (thank goodness-with fingers crossed) you are a very bright light helping illuminating the path through these dark days.

My sympathies go out to everyone who has been affected and devastated...

I'd also like to say thank you to Therese for this forum - I'd been following the non-recall list for weeks, and also checking out the comments blog a couple of times a day. Great work all around - very much appreciated!

I decided to join this forum this morning, and hope to begin participating in discussion threads here & there soon.

Actually, even though they will probably never read this- I'd like to thank the Totally Ferret/Totally Cat food company. They've gone above and beyond in the world of shelters, what with donating food, time, and money, just to help out the shelters, and the animals involved. Wish I could remember all the names of the individuals right now(age related short term memory Grin), but these people do a grand job. Thank you!!!

I don't post on the forums very often, but I subscribe and receive the pet food recalls Therese (The Pet Food List owner) posts.

I am so grateful for these notifications, since Therese's emails are sometimes the only news I see about some recalls.

I want to offer my sincere thanks to Theresa for helping me keep my pets healthy!
