I am wondering in general how to figure out the carbs in dry food?
Also, what are the better percentage ranges for protein, fiber, and fat, especially if I want my kitty to maintain her weight?

Hi Everyone  Grin

I am posting on too many blogs and sometimes answering the same questions and issues repetitively.  Please keep an eye on my websites (kumpicat.com and kumpi.com) where my webmaster will establish a link to a blog I plan to start in a couple of weeks.  Time is getting tight for me!!

Please email questions to kumpi@earthlink.net and it will be easier for me to have q/a in one spot.  This also gives me the opportunity to ask *my people* a variety of questions at one time vs. interrupting their work life so often. My first priority outside of keeping up with business issues is lending support to the people who either lost a FurAngel or is living with one who is compromised.  There is still a lot of sorrow out there and people who need a listening ear.  Their lives are forever altered and my company tag line "A Personal Company For A Personal Choice" is something I want to keep fulfilling.

Thanks and Warm Hugs To Fur Angels Smiley

My cat has been on KumpiKat for about two weeks now and he's doing great.  He was pretty sick from eating Natural Balance and Felidae and Evy really took the time to help me out with him.  We really thought we were going to lose him.  He's not throwing up white foam any more and he's not sleeping 23 hours a day either.  I am so grateful for KumpiKat and Evy was an absolute God send.  She took hours of her time to help me out.  You won't find that with any other comapny president.  The only problem we had was he ate so much KumpiKat at once that he got sick on it.  It was like he was starving and he probably was.  He's doing great now.  Thanks Evy.

I tried Kumpikat over a year ago and my two did not do well on this food. I have not had the problems with  other kibble that my cats experienced eating this food.

If you live in the twin cities (minneapolis), Minnesota area and wante TWO FREE UNOPENED BOXES of Kump Kat let me know. You will need to pick up. My cats don't eat this brand anymore and I would not want the food to go to waste. Thanks!

Someone pointed me to a food shelter in Minneapolis....will be calling them tomorrow and see if they would like this for their animal food pantry. Thank you!

As an FYI - so there is NO CONFUSION. I did NOT stop the cat food because it was not good or caused any issues. My cats loved it - Simba maybe TOOOOOOOO much. I spoke at length with Evy about having to get his weight down and she highly advised I see my vet to check for an underlying condition. Some things have come up and I can't take him to the vet until the beginning of the year. Suffice it to say, anything above 16% - 18% fat and Simba either is sneaking to eat it or he just gains weight by looking at it! LOL

Also, for the first time in 2 months since being off the Kumpi Kat - Simba got hairballs for a few days...which was annoying! So....Nothing WRONG with the food. Don't want anyone to get the WRONG idea here. I hope to use it again one day after I figure out what is going on w/Simba. He is beginning to slim down and that is more important to me right now so he doesn't get obese issues with his joints or other systems.

The food is SPOKEN For now but wanted folks to know there was NOTHING WRONG with the food.

Thanks!
