So. Korean firm recalls animal feed product made from Chinese wheat gluten

SEOUL, May 4 (Yonhap) -- A local animal food manufacturer has recalled products made with Chinese wheat gluten that may have killed pets in the United States, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry said Friday.

It said a food importer and manufacturer had bought 42 tons of wheat gluten in January, and used 16 tons of the material to make feed sold to fish farms across the country. The fish food was sold in March and April.

Well....I wonder how long it will be before we start hearing about tainted farmed fish over here?

I agree...  I asked beowolf that question about the fish in the Back 2 Basics and what they are fed...  now that you look at the ingredients of many foods they contain some-kind of fish, which is a good thing but now makes you wonder just like the chicken deal...

I know, way back when, our family lived in Duluth Minn......My Dad and I used to go fishing almost every weekend.....there's so many great little lakes around there.....and I still say, to this day, those were the best "fish dinners" that I've ever had!!!

I realize that's not an option for everyone....but for those who can....you might want to think about it for you...as well as your fur-babies!

BTW....does anyone know off hand....which are the major fish marketed out of South Korea? I'm curious about that..................thanks!
