There are several online mail order companies that sell pet food.  Examples are Amazon, Pet Food Direct, ordering from the pet food companies themselves, several online natural pet food retailers, etc.  For any of you that have ordered pet food, which ones have you had good experiences with and found them to be trustworthy and reputable.  And which ones should be avoided due to bad experiences?  This includes all sorts of problems, such as delayed delivery, incorrect charges, food expiration dates not being fresh enough, etc.  (This thread is for real experiences, and NOT for spam advertisements from retailers.)

Excellent experience.  Purchased canned product and bagged.  Credit card payment.  Ground shipment.  Fast delivery.  Online ordering.  Freshness dates good.

I'm really curious about Pet Food Direct.  We live in the middle of no man's land, and I see they are giving 20% off with the code GEICO.  Anybody ever order from them?

Researched Kumpi and got quick email responses to all questions. Ordered on line and  had delivery (across country) in a few days.

I order from Pet Food Direct regularly.  I always wait for the 20-25% off (about every 3 to 4 weeks)which covers s&h and a little off the food also.  They have always been reliable.

Kumpi.com is awesome - highly recommend the cat food.  Very accessible and will answer any questions you may have.

Best to all

Kumpi's email response was quick.

My order (Senior) was FedEx out the SAME day!

My dog has always hated dry food (IAMS, Hills & Nutro)
but she ate Kumpi out of my hand like it was a treat!

I order from Only Natural Pet store, they have decent selection of organic and grain free foods, though in the light of new information with this recall (I am still in shock over how many "natural" brands had food manufactured by Menu) I had to revise my idea what is good and what isn't.

Their response is pretty quick, and food arrives within a week even for overseas orders.

I made 2 large orders right after the first recall to 2 separate online places one day apart.
The first order was from Evangers direct from the company, and got my whole order within a week...very impressed. The second was from Waggintails Pet Essentials, where I got my Merricks, Fromme, and The Worlds Best cat litter. I'm still waiting for that oder to be completed. I have so far received 2 partial shipments from them them. Fortunately, the things I needed first came first. They also offered many discounted items, which I took advantage of. They also sent me an email apologizing for the delay, and asked if I wanted to continue waiting or cancel the remaining order. I figured that many of these places are probably swamped due to the fact that people all over are scrambling to find new food sources for their animals, so I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and waiting for the rest of the order. Plus I was impressed that they sent me a personal email apologizing. This customer service is the very thing that I look for from companies, and know I won't get from the oversized corporations. In spite of these delays, I probably will order from them again. Also, they offer an automatic shipment program.

I'm sure you'll get it soon. My order from them took longer than a week.

I had similar issues with Petfood direct. I got the stuff, unfortunately with the recalls I think everyone got behind.I ordered online and it showed up like two weeks later. It was confusing as it said it had been shipped, then it was shipped a second time. I think they messed up the delivery addy even though I told them what to do for delivery.

I also ordered some small size trial sizes of some other brands because you know how the cats are, no we want the junk food mom Tongue
