Does anyone have any information on this product?  The web page says "smoked" but there is no ingredient list on the product or the web site, and I haven't heard back via email for my inquiry.  Gotta know if I have to worry about this treat ... my puppy is SO wanting his next fix!  Thanks everyone ... here's to health and happiness to all your pets and peeps.

I wanted to share the response I got from Red Barn Bully Sticks, pasted below.
Kelly,

Thank you for your interest in Redbarn Pet Products. Our new web site is currently under construction and one of the things that we will be adding is the ingredients for our products. The only thing added to our bully sticks is a diluted solution of human grade liquid smoke, just like the kind you can buy in the grocery stores. We add this to mask some of their natural odor.

According to previous news reports the company involved in the recall of bully sticks was T.W. Enterprises. We are not in any way affiliated with T.W. Enterprises not do we obtain any ingredients from them.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thank you,

Sue

Subject: bully sticks ingrediants

Hello

As you know, everyone is concerned about what they're feeding their pets right now.  I want to know what you use on your bully sticks in the processing for the smoky flavoring.  It smells like a misquite flavoring.  It would be nice if your web-site had ingredients listed, as there are so many people out there double-checking their pet foods now-a-days.

At any rate, if I cannot get an ingredient list from you on everything you coat the bully sticks with, I can only assume that you may have some of the tainted ingredients so please let me know.  I also note that there is a disclaimer on your site regarding other bully sticks.  Can you tell me which ones were recalled?  I'd very much appreciate your assistance.  Have a nice day

Hi,
Funny I emailed them too as I buy a lot of their products at shows and will be going to one Sunday. I asked where they are manufacturing their product as my dogs love those sticks and also the rawhide with the flavored filling. So far no answer. I will see what I can find out from the vendor if I don't hear back. I have heard some scary stuff about rawhide from China the last year or so and try not to buy that.

I won't state a chemical here as I am getting "up there" and have "senior moments" of memory but they process rawhide using something that I did not like. It will come to me. As for where from, labeled with country of origin on any packaged product. My "stuffed sticks" are packed so I can let you know on them. The bully sticks are sold loose, at least at shows, so Huh??
No answer from Red Barn or White Dog Bone the vendor I usually buy them from. Will ask at the show and let you know.
Some rawhides are USA made. Look for packaged with labels to find them. They are getting harder and harder to find but try to buy a blouse or a pair of pants or a skirt that's made in the USA anymore. Good Luck.

I just received an order of USDA bully sticks from 'Waggin' Tails' pet supply. I believe they are their own product.

They came 12" long, and my husband held onto them while I took a pair of garden loppers, and cut them into managable lengths for my many sizes of dogs.

The dogs loved them...even the old girl.

 Grin Grin Grin
Well good news with Red Barn bully sticks. It is all made or manufactured in the USA. The packaged items all have it stated on the label and the vendor at the show assured me all their loose  products are made in the US by them. My dogs also love their Filled Rolled Rawhides.  Your doggies can  safely enjoy their bully sticks as mine will tonight.
