Obviously, I'm VERY late to this discussion, but here's my 2 cents

4 cats on raw(yipee!!!), and 4 ferrets on raw. This has got to be the easiest diet in existence! Cut meat chunks for 7 days, cut/smash bone 3 meals a week for cats, give ferrets whole bone in meats 4 days a week, liver and other organ(usually kidney)- a couple grape sized pieces of each a week for each cat, 1 meal a week of chicken sized liver mixed with a couple oz kidney a week for each ferret. Bag, freeze, defrost as needed

. Nothing else is necessary! I love it

The only thing that has ever really puzzled me is the fact that a two pound ferret can(and does) eats approx 4oz. a day, and a 10 pound cat will eat the same. That means, based on body weight, a ferret is basically eating 5X as much food as the cat
