I'd like to thank all of you who are making this forum such a valuable learning place for so many pet lovers. Each of us brings something unique and important to the forum and it's very clear we can learn so much from each other. It's a pretty lousy thing that's brought us all together but we have a good group of people here who truly want to help each other. Thank you!

You deserve a HUGE thank you as well!
If it weren't for you getting the idea to do this we would not have the benefit of this forum at all. I'm sure I speak for many when I say that if it weren't for this forum we would not have even the validation of our feelings on this matter. So many of us are belittled and chastised for feeling the way we do about animals in the first place, and it's very hard to find like-minded people whom we can feel comfortable enough to let our hair down with. Thank you from the little cindy within.

Considering the fact that Therese just started out very innocently trying to gather some information about who manufactured what foods - she really deserves a LOT of support and credit for not running into the night like a blathering idiot (although I bet she has been tempted at times!!!) and just thought, the heck with it all.

I admire her tenacious attitude and for sticking with this.  Above and beyond the pet food list, she actually opens up a forum on top of everything else, as though she wasn't busy enough as it is!!

I appreciate having this forum to come to and learn and share.  So many other blogs are becoming so nasty and are developing 'the usual few' who dominate and alienate new comers.  This hasn't happened here at all, and I'm sure Ms. Therese would knock a few pixels off of anyone who would try.

Therese.....any chance of placing the 'donate' button in a more prominent place and/or backdropping it with yellow like you did the font on the homepage.  It was difficult for me to locate.

THANKS to all who post here and share.

Hi, Summer, I am glad you feel comfortable with us! Yes, Therese, that little teeny "donate" button was very humble, and I had to scan the page several times to find it. Don't worry about it looking too demanding. We are mostly the ones who will be clicking on it. How about a huge "DONATE MONEY PLEASE!" button   Smiley

OK, OK...I hear you guys! lol I moved the button up farther on the main page.

I also added a new are to the forum for Supporters. You'll see it at the very bottom of the list of boards. There are two other boards there that are only visible to Supporters.

Thanks, guys!

Paypal would be great. Most of the rescues use it and the BFCA's annual auction to benefit rescues made it so easy by using Paypal. I know it is pretty easy to set up and you can use bank transfers if you don't have a credit card.
Love Paypal.

Thanks Sylvia!!!

I'm really NOT too savvy as far as computers go....I don't know too much about Paypal....I'm sure that my husband (who's a lot quicker than me with the computer!) can help me out when he gets home from work!!

Here's another silly question....can Canadian residents use PayPal?..I sure hope so!!

Thanks once again for your help!!!.... Embarrassed

Canadians can use Paypal. I buy from "lush" bath products in Canada all the time and am so happy they added Paypal. It is pretty much worldwide thanks to ebay. All you need is a checking account and you can set up with Paypal pretty easily. I had been using it for ebay but now many companies use it too.
