I agree! Thanks for the super post, Evy. Mike has also been very professional. Someday when/if I get over my Pet Food Phobia, I may very well try Kumpi or Back to Basics. We have all come a long way and it certainly warms my heart on this cold morning!

Hey everyone, Mike with B2B here.

Sorry I haven't popped my head here in a few days, I've been handling our Mastiffs at the dog show in Springfield, MA and haven't had much time to "plug-in".

I'm glad that Therese, Davis and the other people responsible for this great resource have given us PFI guys a chance to share our views and knowledge on the forums here. I come here of my own choice and share my own opinions and welcome the opportunity to learn new stuff from the people here. I know there's no real way for anyone to prove this true or false, but I do this on my own time and have no particular company "stance" when I'm here. I work for what I think is a good pet food and offer only my personal experience from within the industry.

I have to admit that I sometimes hesitate to even post for fear of rejection because of my involvement with the industry, but at the end of the day I'm a 27 year old busy-body with a desire for continuing knowledge in my profession. I love dogs and have been dealing with them my entire life, heck it's why I like this gig to begin with.

Anyhoot, There have been a few posts in the past where I admittedly stepped over a comfortable line and even did some name-dropping. If I had no inolvement in the PFI it would be fine as I would be a venting member of society, but in order to earn the proper respect for my profession, I realize that I must handle my words at a higher level of reservation.

I'm passionate about pet health as all of you likely are as well, and I hope to become a valuable member of this community for my attempts to bring a little more transparency to the Pet Food Industry. I've just gotten off work and have to go eat some Chicken, peas and Mashed potatoes (yum)... I'll catch up on the last few days of posts here and chime in with some comments if I have anything to offer.

Thanks
-Mike
