For those of you who have not yet posted pictures and don't know how, Therese has left instructions in the pet memorial section, with a list of online hosts. See here:
http://thepetfoodlist.com/forums/index.php?topic=156.0You will need to link to a photo that you have uploaded onto the web. I personally use ImageShack and like it the best. It's fast and easy. No registration is necessary (you can skip the email box). Here's a link:
http://imageshack.us/Just select a photo from your computer with the browse box and click "host it". Copy and paste the "direct link to image" that it gives you into the forum compose screen. Then highlight the link and click the 2nd tag box from the left, above the compose screen. This will enclose your image in 2 image tags. You can type your text above or below it, whichever you prefer. Sample the results by clicking on "preview" at the bottom of the screen.
Keep in mind that if your images are too big, it will be very difficult to view them on the forum, and will take forever to load for those who have a dial-up connection. You can either resize them in your computer, or if you don't know how, ImageShack (and I'm sure other host sites too) has a resize feature that you can use before you click upload. Website & email size is best. If your image is already a good size, don't click the resize box. Have fun!
