When I got the Canidae for my boy, I got some samples of Natures'Variety Prairie kibble for dogs. The ingredients look great. And no menadione. However, following this thread, I called them to find out where it was manufactured. They said it was outsourced to Texas, but would not give me the city in Texas or the name of the manufacturer. But they assured me it had no connections whatsoever with any recalled products. If it's Pied Piper, I'm ok with it. But if it's Merrick, I have reservations. Not that I'm going to switch just yet, but when we finish the bag of Timberwolf (so expensive) and Canidae (Hannah hates it), I may buy a small bag, if I get the answer I'm looking for. (Not feeding the samples because there is no way to determine an expiration date. Rep said "just smell it". Sorry, but I need a date in writing.

Anyway, if anyone knows who manufactures the Nature's Variety Prairie dog kibble, I would appreciate the feedback.
Thanks.
