This question is in regards to the brands listed on the Ohio Pet Foods website (http://www.ohiopetfoods.com/), who, incidentally, state that they are a privately held corporation.

Some of the brands they list--example: Hi-Pro--are manufactured by Purina.

PFL's info is below:

Quote
OHIO PET FOODS
Manufactures dry foods only

Ohio Pet Foods, Inc.
38251 Industrial Park Road
Lisbon, Ohio USA 44432
Phone: 330-424-1431
Fax: 330-424-1108
info@ohiopetfoods.com

Foods manufactured:
Blackwood Pet Food
Life's Abundance by Healthy Pet Net

I think I remember reading about a connection between the two companies (is Ohio the manufacturer?) but wanted to confirm it here.  I suspect people at PFL will know somehting about it.

Thanks again,
LadyJemima

Pro Plan is made by Purina. Hi Pro is made by Ohio Pet Foods. To the best of my knowledge they are two completely separate foods and companies.

Look closely at the packaging and the ingredients. Not the same. http://www.ohiopetfoods.com/Makin'_Trax_Hi-Pro.htm    Best to call the manufacturer if you still have doubts.

Upon looking for further information about Purina Hi Pro dog food, it seems that this product has been discontinued as of early this year. There is no longer any info about this food on Purina's website.
