Canidae, like many of the other best dog food
brands on the market, probably isn't a brand you've heard of. In fact, the best dog food brands don't really seem to advertise much, but tend to grow via word-of-mouth advertising instead. Their money goes into quality ingredients, not quality commercials.

Canidae is an all-natural dog food
that contains more than 50-percent high-quality meat proteins. The food also contains digestive enzymes that are similar to those found in nature. Another great thing about Canidae is that the meat they use is hormone-free, which means your dog isn't getting nasty additives that could do more harm than good in the long run.

We've all heard of Canidae, trust me.

I used it for a while until they started to have problems.  I stopped using it & never looked back.

I'm afraid I'm one of these really paranoid pet parents........once a pet food, especially one I was feeding my dog, has problems, that's the end of the road for me.  I think a lot of pet parents were feeding Canidae until those problems started & most of them then shied away from it.

I believe this was about the time I decided to bring the bag back & that was the end of that story:

ETA:  I didn't bother to note any of them but they had problems after that also.  Just saying.......

My cats would never eat it so I have no feedback to offer other than their refusal.

But out of curiousity I went to Consumer Affairs and found a recent post where a pet owner found a rusty nail in a bag of Canidae dog food.

And guess what? This pet owner is still feeding the food. I mean wth?Huh?
