I just happened upon this quote in an article on saving money on pet care on Pet Connection.  This is news to me........scary too because everyone I know, including me, uses this for their dog:

"Moderator Darlene Arden notes that the formulas have changed for Pepto Bismol and Kaopectate have changed and are no longer safe for pets."

I knew they'd changed the formula for Kaopectate a while back, but not the Pepto.
