Ok. Herne is on Evo kibble. He eats in one room upstairs with the door closed. He's a happy camper.
Stubbs and Ligiea eated canned Evo in Cliff's office, with the door closed. They're both pleased with the arrangements.
Watson eats NV raw in the bathroom.
They've all been happy with this arrangement for over 2 months.
Watson has been eating less and less lately. In order to get him to eat, I've been having to put pieces of the raw on the floor in front of him. He started eating less than 1/2 medallion of NV, three times a day. No where near enough for a cat his size(about 14lbs).
So, I started trying him with the canned mixed with raw again, just to get something into him.
Again, he was eating less and less.
Finally, I tried the straight canned with him, which he refused.
I wondered if maybe he was constipated. Cats eat far less bone than ferrets, so maybe the NV had too much bone for him.
Pumpkin and lax followed.
During all this time, he would steal the Evo canned Stubbs and Ligiea had, as long as it was from their dishes.
We finally reached a point where I was considering a vet visit, and he was haunting the other cats dishes again. So, we thought what the heck- we moved his dish in Cliff's office with Stubbs and Ligiea.
HE ATE LIKE A PIG!!!!
All this time, all he wanted was to eat with the others  Roll Eyes
In other words- I took him off the raw(which took forever to get him on), gave him the canned, and it's now going to take forever to get him accepting the raw again  Roll Eyes
I swear- some days, I could strangle the little beggars!!!!  Cheesy

That is one thing I must say about cats, they know when they want it, along with how and where they want it, Lol! Definitely fussy creatures.

I am glad to hear he is now eating well. Maybe you ought to just forget about feeding him the raw for awhile?Huh Or at least untill you get him fattened up. Wink

That's what I'm going to do. I just cannot believe the whole thing was because he wanted to eat with a cat he's afraid of! Watson is the one Stubbs keeps attacking Roll Eyes.
We'll leave off the raw for a couple of weeks, til he's comfortable again, then start introducing it slowly again.
