I am working to force an official investigation of reports that a pet food company did and possibly continues to conduct tests of suspect food on dogs and cats.

I have seen and/or heard a respected veterninary scientist/investigator state "Animal testing of the suspect food is NOT AN OPTION".

Someone out there may remember reading that article or seeing the interview....

If you know who that was AND maybe could provide a link for me....please post or PM

Thanks

I know it wasn't PETA....it was in a news item recently in mainstream media, but I can't find it (1 1/4 million returns on Google!)

It was Menu Foods that fed the suspected food to their test animals. I believe those were the original "16 confirmed deaths" that the FDA was sticking to for so long in the first weeks.

If you go to the AP website, or Yahoo News, which uses AP, and limit your news search to that one source, you'll probably find it. Try "menu foods fed supected food to lab animals", or something like that.

I'm really starting to hate pet food companies.
