I used Nutro Natural Choice dry products for years.  I've used the Lamb & Rice, Sensitive Stomach, Light & Senior varieties as well as the biscuits.  My 11 year old Border Collie started throwing up bile in the mornings about a year ago.  It became pretty frequent, but my Vet said that some dogs just do that & to give him Maalox.  When the recall was announced, I switched them all to Canidae.  They have been eating it since April 1st & maybe it's just a coincidence, but there hasn't been any morning vomitting (without Maalox) since the switch.

After much research, I switched from Nutro Natural Choice dry to Canidae Platinum dry.  My 3 dogs have been eating the Canidae for two weeks and seem to really love it.   I had narrowed my choices down to 3 brands: Canidae, Innova & Solid Gold based on a recommendation by a Vet friend.  I ruled out Innova (NaturaPet) because they use Menu Foods (until they buy or build their own wet food plant) & I didn't like the fact that  Diamond makes Solid Gold.  I'm hoping that I made a good choice.
