811  Dry and Wet Foods / General Discussion about Dry and Wet Packaged Foods / Re: Natures Select dog food (dry) on: October 11, 2008, 09:29:42 AM
This is one I have never seen before. The protein content appears to be a little low on most of the formulas. I have seen beet pulp added to pet foods for fiber, but  have never seen "beet pulp shards" listed as an ingredient before. The addition of both Silicon Dioxide and Silica Dioxide are two ingredients I would also be concerned about.
812  Dry and Wet Foods / Specific Brands of Dry or Wet Foods / Re: Petcurean on: October 10, 2008, 11:02:51 PM
Dexter, I used to use the Go Natural dry food for my cats a couple of years ago. I do not use it now as I only use grain free but my cats did not have any issues while on this food.
813  Dogs / General Dog Health Discussion / Re: Newbie- and bad dog food AGAIN!! on: October 10, 2008, 10:54:31 PM
Mncountryangel, How is your dog doing? Please let us know if the food came back positive for any toxins.
814  Dry and Wet Foods / Pet Promise / Re: Pet Promise Food on: October 10, 2008, 09:59:34 PM
My kitties did not do well on the Pet Promise dry food. Too grainy IMO. I have used the Pet Promise canned food (chicken formula only) for over a year now and my they seem to be doing very well on it.
815  Dry and Wet Foods / Hill's / Re: NEED DIET FOOD FOR CATS on: October 10, 2008, 09:15:20 PM
Hi Grandma! Wet cat food is always best to feed. I would suggest trying the Wellness grain free canned. If you have trouble getting your cat to eat another brand of cat food you could always mix a little of the FF in with it and decrease the amount of FF over time till the cat is totally on the new food. Grain free IMO would be ideal for helping a cat loose weight.
816  Dry and Wet Foods / Life's Abundance / Re: Life's Abundance causing excessive gas & stools in dog? on: October 10, 2008, 09:07:46 PM
Lifes Abundance contains what I believe to be a couple of undesireable ingredients. For example; Oat groats and beet pulp. Also some animals cannot tolerate brewers yeast.
817  Raw Foods / Aunt Jeni's (Home Made 4 Life) / Re: aunt jeni's on: October 10, 2008, 08:54:38 PM
My kitty eats only the Aunt Jeni's raw food. He is allergic to fish along with many other items that are found in canned foods. I believe Aunt Jeni's is the only commercially prepared raw that contains no fish or fish oil. He has been eating it for over a year now and I am very happy with his health since switching to raw food.

  For Phoebe, Cato & Angel Kaffe,                                                                                 Romans 8: 18 – 25 (KJV)

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
