1  Dry and Wet Foods / Evo / Re: Evo dry cat food on: September 09, 2007, 05:56:06 PM
The EVO ancestral for cats was liked very much. I was so relieved to have found one that all 3 liked to replace the recalled cwap I had been using.

I used up a bag and the next one was gritty throughout. Really gritty. I ordered another bag and it was the same way. Natura did not repond to my complaint with the picture of the grit included. After the initial response from the company I purchased it from indicating they were contacting Natura,  they didn't respond again either, not even to my followup inquiries.

I really hated that this company didn't respond and that the online store also ignored it. Neither are on my list to use again.

Picture of grit is better than words.

2  Dry and Wet Foods / Instinctive Choice / Re: Instinctive Choice? on: September 09, 2007, 05:42:57 PM
2 of my cats eat the Wet food. They will not eat the kibble.

I wrote asking about the phosphorus content & I asked who would do their canned food if Menu doesn't survive. I have not received an answer.

Since this wet is Scooter's main food source (my youngest 10mths) plus some wet kitten food, I may pull the autoship as soon as I find a replacement...and I'm looking for one.

3  Dry and Wet Foods / Nature's Logic / Re: Nature's Logic on: September 09, 2007, 05:26:56 PM
I am feeding my 3 Cats the Nature's Logic dry. They most favor the Rabbit (we're on the 2nd bag of that). Since they liked the Rabbit so much, I added  the Duck and the Chicken varieties too.  The rotation dry is Organix by Castor Pollux.

They hated the Nature's Logic wet - to me it reeked of rosemary (which I hate the smell of) and it was so hard I had to cut it with a knife, so I'm glad they didn't like it LOL.

The company has responded very well to my questions.

The point of not adding vitamins to this is why I'm more comfortable with it. I am really concerned about the vitamin premixes due to the research that I have been doing.  Right now, that is what is most important to me about kibble, next to the grain/glutens.

The plasma is not a worry to me. There could be worse things in the food. Plasma is not  on my list as one of them. I may find it a disgusting thought, but then a predator killing its supper isn't going to care what I think about that either Smiley

The furkids are all doing very well and have had no problems. They all are adopted and enjoy life without Science Diet & Purina Cat Chow kibbles Smiley
