That is great that your kitty's doing better  Smiley
I cannot get the Fromm food where I live, so I stick with the Wellness
I also only buy Turkey, Chicken, Chicken and Beef, and Turkey and Salmon.
The other ones have seafood, Tuna and such is not good for cats with struvite crytals, you want a clean fish, salmon is ok, but not too much.
Also I give them a bit of chicken when I have some for myself, as this ups the protein a bit, as being on strictly canned they may not get enough protein.

I so feel for you right now, I went through the same thing with my 7 yr old last year in August I think it was.  She had struvite crystals really bad.  I was feeding my cats dry food (wont say the brand) but it was an expensive food.  The vet told me my cat would have to be on prescription food for the rest of her life.  My cat was put on antibiotics for 2 weeks, and I refused the prescription food and put her on a grain free wet food only, no more dry.  She is now cured and a very happy cat.  When you do take your cat into a vet their numbers will show higher than normal as this happens when they get stressed,(being in a strange place)  I did alot of reading if you go to this site it may give you some insight into all of this. I think that dry food that is full of grain will only make matters worse for your kitty in the long run.  Here is the link to the web site.

CJ went for bloodwork which showed an elevated liver enzyme (but kidneys are functioning beautifully!) so they did an ultrasound.  Good news is that it looks identical to the one done before her surgery in May (with the exception of what is scar tissue from the surgery).  I have made a decision (and I'm sure my MSU vet is not going to be happy) to start the cats on Wellness Healthy Weight since it doesn't have all of the chemicals the Euk has and it has lower fat so that has to be easier on her liver.  We'll see if that makes a difference when we repeat the bloodwork.

I'm hoping that everyone here is still okay with Wellness ?
My cats have been on it for a while now, and so far so good

Hi ya it is confusing, they just seem to be turning their noses up at it lately and I thought that if the fruits and vegies werent needed then should maybe find something else that didnt have it.  Is the phosphorous too  high in By nature?  I dont think anyone sells that brand where I am anyhow.  My one cat since she has been on Wellness has lost 2 lbs so she is 15 lbs now and my other cat has gained a pound so he is 15 lbs now too, then I read in that book that a cat that is that much weight should have 8 oz. of food a day,  I have been feeding them 6 oz but given them a bit more as they werent really satisfied with 6oz.  I just did the calculation for a bunch of food and the EVO and Felidae cat and kitten was the lowest in carbs in the 4 range on dry matter basis.

Hi I am new to this forum, Im over at Itchmo too, just wondering if anyone had read the book by Dr. Elizabeth Hodgkins?  I feed my cats Wellness canned only  (no dry) have been doing this since my one cat got struvite crystals a few months ago, but after reading this book Im not sure what to think,  I am doing the right thing by feeding only wet, but there is Potato in it(filler) and lots of vegies and fruit which she says is not needed by carnivores.  It is great that it is grain free, but maybe there is some other food out there that I have missed that may be better?  Any ideas, plus here in Canada I pay 2.49$ a 12 ounce can which can be expensive when my cats are 15 lbs because they need 8 ounces of food a day,  just thought I would try and get some feedback here.  Raw is not an option for me, Id like to but cant due to work scheduling and my one cat only has incissors teeth (no molars)
