1  Other Pet Topics / Miscellaneous Pet Topics / Lizards on: July 22, 2009, 11:58:37 AM
Anyone around have anything besides the conventional dog and cat? Maybe more towards the reptile family? I don't have any snakes, but I do have a ton of lizards ranging from the traditional leopard geckos and bearded dragons to a bit more of the slightly rarer lizards like uromastyx and blue tongue skink. Anyone else? Because I need some advice with my uro. I'm taking off the mercury vapor bulbs and am contemplating what to get. I'm thinking the zilla 50 series bulbs I have for my beardie because I really like them a lot. What do you think.

3  Other Pet Topics / Pet Memorials / RIP Stimpy on: July 22, 2009, 11:29:12 AM
My father rescued a bearded dragon many years ago when I was a kid. He was missing part of a leg, which looked like stumpy. However at the time I was really into Ren & Stimpy, so I named him Stimpy. He passed away not too long ago and I want to pay homage. RIP stimpy, I miss you!!!  Cry I hope you're in a better place now.

If you're a reptile lover/admirer you know that calcium in a reptiles diet is so important for their survival. Therefore I wanted to know what you think is the best calcium supplement out there. I remember there was one that had a little too much phosphor and made reptiles sick.

and they say reptiles give off salmonella. Dog food probably has contaminated way more people than a reptile ever would!  Sad
