Thank you for your response! I'll try that. If you don't mind me asking, how are your cats doing on the KumpiKat?

We just got KumpiKat and our five cats are being rather slow about taking to it. They've always jumped right on whatever kimble we put down, but before they had always eaten supermarket brands (aka 'cat crack'). Has anyone else using KumpiKat had this problem?

Has anyone every tried Nature's Miracle corncob litter? It sounds decent, but I'm not sure.

That would be so awesome, but one of our cats has some health issues and isn't supposed to go outside.

There's a couple who lives close to my parents. They have around 20 cats, and have an enlosure that leads from their house to a three story wire mesh 'building' that sort of resembles a church. The enclosure has many levels including a top steeple level, with paths that lead to each. It's pretty amazing, and taller than their house.

Wow! That symptoms list matches our cat Yoda to a 'T'. He just goes ape occassionally and acts like his tail is trying to attack him, and he gets 'lost' in the middle of an open room, looking around bewildered and meowing.

I honestly had no idea...

I'll Hartz to my list of companies to avoid at all costs.

I knew several members were smaller companies, but wasn't really sure who they were. Does anyone know exactly what the PFI does?

Pet Food Institute is what I meant, but the 'I' in PFI had momentarily escaped me. Thank you for aiding me in clarification.

Just so you know, Evy is not a member of the Pet Food Industry, or whatever the official name is of the conglomerates of pet food. She's opted not to join since she disagrees with much of what they stand for...if I may speak on her behalf.

One of our cats loves ping pong balls, but the others could care less. Two of our cats love toy mice, one likes balls, and they all like string (but they can only have that when play with it with them). I would LOVE IT if I could find American made toy mice...

But one of our five cats (who just so happens to be my baby...I try so hard not to show favorites), absolutely loves toy mice. The only ones I can find are made in China. How hard could it be for a USA company to make a toy mouse?!?

Can anyone recommend any cat toys that are made in the USA. Everything I look at is made in China, and I will be doing my best to avoiding all things Chinese.
